Let me alarm you with some eye opening statistics. The Nation’s Report Card among 4th, and 8th graders reading scores has been at a slippery slope for decades. In 2022, there was a 3 point decline in 4th and 8th grade reading scores per NAEP (National Assessment Educational Progress) Report Card.
I am Bridgett Pelzer. As a storyteller and author, I am on a clear mission. It is to empower youth by creating fun and inspirational stories that will make a difference in their lives for years to come. It is my confidence that my mission can and will bring a level of fun and resolve to systemic educational disparities among our at-risk babies and youth, thereby making them academic heroes of hope (and not despair). This will turn them into Super Fans of reading, and learning in a superistic, futuristic, read-a-soars way!
However, I need your help to power this mission. I invite you to stand with me through your giving. I am looking for any individual or business to support my Book Drive Fundraiser for my latest release….A Camel’s Christmas. This message of hope needs to be carried out to our children and all of mankind.
My goal is to raise $50,000. The funds will be allocated to help defray the cost for purchasing books. In retrospect, for every 10 books sold, I will donate 1 book to a child/household for free! This is a call for you to make a difference. Will you be a part of this BP Book Drive Fundraiser?
